JUNTE, Volume 1 is a riso book produced by JUNTE chronicling and commemorating their inaugural project, The Platform.

JUNTE is an arts, land and culture project founded in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico by a group of local and international artists. JUNTE's first step was to build a dance platform in the forest as a place of gathering. Considering the island's rich culture and history around dance and music, it was decided that the first structure initiated by the project was to be a dance platform. The group built a fifteen feet diameter dance platform in the forest using local labor and material and organized a dance party attended by the local community and their guests. The platform is open to public and other cultural events such as concerts, theater plays and experimental art happenings are organized on site.
